Every year, Livetec works with poultry farmers around the country, supporting them with our industry-leading range of technical solutions and on-farm services. This September, we’ll be heading to the British Free Range Egg Producers Association Conference and Exhibition to catch up with our clients, meet new farmers and share insights with a range of industry experts.
We’re particularly pleased to be heading to this year’s conference in Birmingham as it marks the first in-person event since 2019. Last year’s show was held virtually due to pandemic restrictions so it’s wonderful to be able to finally get together in person.
It’s no secret that the poultry industry has faced an incredibly challenging 12 months, with the worst-ever outbreak of avian influenza continuing to be a threat long after the typical end of the season.
In addition to AI, the poultry industry has also been subjected to some of the most difficult business conditions for a generation, with soaring costs causing the price of essentials such as feed, fuel, and fertiliser to rocket.
There is no better time for the industry to come together and share experiences, knowledge and ideas to confront these issues and move forward in a positive new direction.
Organised by BFREPA and ForFarmers, this year’s conference and exhibition will bring together producers from across the UK and further afield on Thursday 29th September 2022 at the Hilton Metropole, Birmingham.
Catch the Livetec team on stand 20. We’d love to meet you so please do stop by to say hello and speak to our biosecurity experts for any support and guidance you may need.
At Livetec we are on a mission to ensure that we’re always in a position to support farmers across the UK, whenever they need us.
We understand that on-farm events don’t always occur at the most convenient of times. They don’t always take place during standard office hours.
Farming is truly a 24/7 operation, which means that we must ensure we’re available to our clients around the clock, offering support, advice, and guidance no matter what.
For example, in cases where a notifiable disease outbreak is suspected, it is your legal duty and obligation to report the outbreak to the Defra Rural Services helpline immediately. Should you feel unsure about whether or not the signs you’re seeing qualify as suspected disease, you need to be able to access expert advice instantly.
That’s why we’re pleased to announce the launch of our emergency help form. Available via our website at any time of day – all year-round – our new form makes it easier to connect with Livetec in the event of an urgent on-farm situation.

Our easy-to-use online emergency help form will act as your 24-hour helpline, enabling you to fire urgent enquiries directly to Livetec. We’ll respond as soon as possible, in the most efficient, effective way.
