Livetec is pleased to confirm that we’ll be attending the Poultry Network Conference on the 8th September at the Harper Adams University campus in Shropshire!
This important industry event will be bringing the UK poultry sector together to discuss the strategic issues currently impacting production.
In addition to us exhibiting at this exciting conference, our Technical Director, Julian Sparrey will also be a keynote speaker, hosting an insightful talk on “Poultry Health and Avian Influenza Preparedness” at 3:45pm!
As an expert in both animal welfare and biosecurity, Julian will be able to share his years of knowledge and on-farm experience to provide listeners with information crucial for poultry farm businesses across the UK, especially as we head into the next avian influenza season.
Now in its second year, the 2022 conference will focus on sustainability, welfare, on-farm efficiency, and flock health. These are incredibly pertinent issues reflective of the challenges poultry farmers and producers are facing on farms around the country today.
The Livetec team is looking forward to hearing expert insight, input, and discussion throughout the event. We’re particularly looking forward to the keynote session as it will consider a topic especially important to Livetec: The Drive to Net Zero and More Sustainable Poultry Production.
Other sessions on the calendar will look at how farmers can find efficiencies in the face of increasing production costs, and the future of welfare for poultry farmers. As leaders in this area, we’re very keen to speak to farmers and producers and share our insight and guidance throughout the conference. Visit us at the conference on the 8th September to find out how to protect your farm, or contact us for more information.
