A month on from this year’s Pig and Poultry, we’ve been reflecting on the event. We had so many amazingly positive conversations we had surrounding building the future of livestock protection and biosecurity. Not to mention the encouragement, interaction and feedback on our new innovations, the eBAS and LTEC Academy. Oh, and the fun we all had with the Popmoji customised mugs and travel mugs!
Fantastic freebies
Our custom mugs and travel mugs, complete with custom avatars, were a massive hit. People loved them! It was brilliant to see so many attendees walking around with our mugs and chatting about livestock protection and biosecurity.
If you managed to get one, don’t forget to take a picture and upload to social media, tagging us in – we’d love to see them!
Innovation stations
Our interactive dashboards were also a source of huge activity and buzz. Visitors were really impressed with how easy they were to use and how they made complex data accessible. One dashboard showcased our new LTEC Academy, an integrated learning platform that’s revolutionising learning in the digital age and empowering tomorrow’s AgriTech leaders.

The other dashboard walked attendees through the new eBAS, which makes biosecurity simple, easy, and efficient for poultry farmers, egg producers, and animal keepers.

It was great to see so many farmers and industry pros engaging with these tools and getting excited about how they could improve their biosecurity. The dashboards sparked some really insightful conversations about the future of biosecurity and livestock management – but also gave us real feedback.
Our experts were also really pleased with the insightful conversations we were able to have with customers, new and existing. These interactions are what build trust and strong connections in our industry.

Livetec on stage
For our team, one of the biggest highlights were the Innovation Theatre sessions we hosted. Titled “Building the Future of Livestock Protection: Biosecurity in Your Hands”, delivered by our Group Technical Director, Julian Sparrey and egg producer and BFREPA Chairman, James Baxter.
The presentations were packed with practical advice and inspiring ideas on improving biosecurity. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with many attendees feeling motivated to take their biosecurity measures to the next level.

Despite some very sore feet and hoarse voices at the end of the two days, the whole Livetec team left inspired and uplifted by the experience. It was so exciting to see how seriously people are taking biosecurity and, of course, motivates us even further to keep innovating for the future of livestock protection.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by our stand and joined the conversation. We can’t wait to keep the momentum going!
