Livetec’s Director of Digital Transformation Grant Oliff, who is recognised as a digital entrepreneur, will be a judge for a second time at the UK Customer Experience Awards™.
The winners will be announced at Wembley Stadium on the 11th October 2023 at an exclusive black tie awards ceremony, with the final judging taking place just under a week before on the 5th October. The event intends to celebrate the accomplishments of outstanding customer experience pioneers.
Last year Grant judged the Digital Transformation category and this year is on the judging panel for the Best Applied Technology award.
Speaking of the UK CXA™ awards, Grant believes that the event “brings exposure to what UK digital CX developers are doing for their customers, and showcases new innovations within the industry that prioritise the customer experience”.
Pleased to be participating on the judging panel, and a fond lover of technology, Grant sees the event as an additional opportunity to grow and learn within the tech world to give back to British consumers.
How Livetec is using digital transformation
Recently, Livetec Systems launched an app for UK poultry farmers and backyard keepers. Grant, as Livetec’s Director of Digital Transformation, was the project’s lead and strategic driver of the app’s development, from functionality to customer experience.
Grant explained the rationale behind this first of its kind app, explaining: “Digital transformation is changing the way we work; you always want to improve and find solutions”.
The solution for poultry keepers and farmers was the Livetec Systems App which tracks avian influenza outbreaks (both current and historic); sends warning notifications and, for the user, the presence of a protection zone affecting their premises.
Grant emphasised that the app and its future development would “enable data-driven decisions to turn the fight against disease into a more predictive view”, and that “by embracing digitisation poultry keepers would be able to predict, and therefore enhance their on-site biosecurity”.
What more can we expect on the Livetec Systems App?
There are developments already in the pipeline for the Livetec Systems App. Grant, and his development team, are already preparing for the next release which includes an outbreak map for wild birds, giving users an insight into the virus pressure presented by wild bird infections. Also, the team is “moving towards a self service app for the industry offering a self-service portal to people who need critical information”.
