Near Pomeroy, County Tyrone

Following the receipt of official laboratory confirmation by the National Reference Laboratory, Weybridge, England, the Chief Veterinary Officer for Northern Ireland has confirmed that HPAI H5N1 is present in a commercial poultry premises near Pomeroy, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. As a result, the temporary control zones that were put in place, around each premises have now been revoked and replaced by 3km protection zones and 10km surveillance zones.
