The presence of highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N5 has now been confirmed in Great Britain after nearly nine months without a positive case being recorded. A 3km protection zone and 10km surveillance zone are now in place around the affected commercial poultry farm located in East Riding, Yorkshire.
