This is a full-time, office-based role.


At Livetec Systems, we lead the way in the emergency poultry depopulation industry. Our commitment to biosecurity, animal welfare, and environmental sustainability sets us apart. Join our team and contribute to a safer, more responsible future. As a Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our gas bank, equipment, and transport management systems. Your role is critical in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of our depopulation services.


  1. Gas Bank Management:
    • Responsible for managing the inventory of gas supplies used in depopulation processes.
    • Ensure proper storage and handling, adhering to safety standards.
    • Coordinate replenishment and maintain accurate gas usage records.
  2. Insurance:
    • Work closely with insurance brokers to handle new and outstanding claims.
    • Keep all vehicles within the group properly insured and legally compliant.
    • Maintain accurate records of claims, payments, services, and repairs.
  3. Equipment Management:
    • Oversee equipment maintenance and readiness.
    • Schedule routine inspections and ensure safety standards are met.
    • Track equipment inventory and assist with ordering parts.
  4. Transport Management:
    • Coordinate logistics for transporting equipment and teams to depopulation sites.
    • Assist with route planning for efficiency and adherence to schedules.
    • Manage relationships with transport providers and ensure compliance.
  5. Record Keeping and Reporting:
    • Maintain comprehensive records of logistics activities.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management, suggesting improvements.
  6. Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure all logistics activities align with industry regulations and company policies.
    • Participate in safety audits and contribute to corrective actions.
  7. Team Support:
    • Provide guidance to logistics team members.
    • Assist in training new team members and foster a culture of teamwork and efficiency.

Your role is critical in maintaining efficient operations while prioritising safety and compliance.

Additional Requirements

  • Experience: Previous logistics or supply chain management experience.
  • Industry Exposure: Familiarity with the poultry industry (preferred).
  • Safety Savvy: Knowledge of hazardous materials and transportation compliance.
  • Organisation Ninja: Strong multitasking skills.
  • Communication Pro: Excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Tech-Ready: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit and logistics software.
  • Maintenance Basics: Understanding of vehicle and equipment upkeep (preferred).
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work beyond office hours during peak times.
  • Lifelong Learner: Commitment to professional development.
  • Eligibility: Full clean UK driving license and right to work in the UK.
